Give 5 Program

Give 5 is a program that matches Clayton residents who are retired (or approaching retirement) with area nonprofits in a volunteer capacity. Each Give 5 class will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., once a week for three weeks, visiting a dozen nonprofits

Intergenerational Tutoring

Help a young child learn to read and get a better start in school. Volunteers work one-on-one with a child for one hour a week during the school day, as a tutor, mentor and friend.

Office Administration Volunteer

Help keep the Oasis offices running smoothly and create a welcoming learning environment while you contribute to the successful aging of adults by providing valuable support to Oasis staff, its programs and services and the members.

Marketing Ambassadors

Help promote Oasis programs and support the Oasis Marketing team.

Healthy Habits for Adults

Become a community health educator with Oasis Healthy Habits for Adults. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to teach one-hour health classes for older adults about healthy nutrition habits and low impact exercises. Classes take place during weekdays throughout the metro area.

Peers for Productive Aging Discussion Leaders

Help prevent social isolation for seniors by facilitating a monthly discussion group in the community.

Class Coordinator

Oasis needs professional, friendly volunteers to help with class activities. As a Class Coordinator, you will be able to enjoy some special programming at a reduced charge.

Health Insurance Counseling

Help people understand and organize medical insurance information. Seeking volunteers ages 50+

Technology Instructors and Coaches

Help adults develop confidence using technology.

Do you love to be active in the great outdoors? Oasis is seeking volunteers to plan and lead walks, hikes and bike tours throughout St. Louis.

Oasis Friends

Enrich your life and develop new skills and talents as you enjoy Oasis programs with older adults with developmental disabilities. As part of the Friends Program, you will build lasting friendships while providing a valuable service.
