Intergenerational Tutoring

Help a child learn to read and get a better start in school. Volunteers work one-on-one as a tutor, mentor and friend. You choose the day/s and time/s that work for you during the school day. Tutoring is open to Adults 50+.

Computer Instructors, Assistants And Lab Coaches

Join the team to help mature adults develop their confidence and computer skills through our Connections computer classes. You do not need to be an expert - patience and enthusiasm are what matter most. We train you and provide the course materials.

Reception Desk Volunteers/Registration Volunteers

Meet interesting people, learn new skills, and help make the Oasis center a welcoming place! Oasis Reception Desk and Registration volunteers also enter new members in our database, register members for classes and assist in sending class confirmations.

Share your knowledge with Oasis members as you teach a class in a subject for which you have a passion.

Peer Leader

Periodically, we train volunteers to act as peer leaders for The Chronic Disease Self Management Program.

Speakers Bureau

If you have experience in speaking to groups, you can help us spread the word about Oasis.

Special Events/Projects

Help at periodic special events at Oasis or in the community.

Class Coordinators

Oasis needs professional, friendly volunteers to help with class activities to include introducing the instructor, running A/V equipment, and distributing class evaluations. As a Class Coordinator, you will be able to attend select classes for free.

Share your expertise by taking pictures of Oasis functions/events.
